Lots of news this week!
After the first week of rain in months, the smoke is finally gone! Hurrah! The giant pulse of water in the HJA has inspired a whole suite of mushrooms to show themselves.
I have two new technicians to welcome to the carnivore team at the HJA: Leilani and Rebecca.
It was still smokey in the Cascades last week when we returned to doing some field work. Here's what it looked like from Carpenter Mountain when we were checking carnivore cameras:
